Thanksgiving Place Setting Verse Cards

Place Setting Verse Cards

Hi friends! I was thinking about our Thanksgiving celebration this year and what we could do to focus more on Christ as we gathered together (in small groups of course…thanks again, Covid!) This is tricky because usually, one shows up to Thanksgiving dinner starving and in stretchy pants! I wanted to make sure whatever I did didn’t take up too much time, but still held more meaning than everyone just naming one thing they are thankful for. This is where I landed. I made this little set of place setting cards in the same theme as my Thanksgiving Planning Printable from earlier this month. Each card has a short verse about thankfulness. When we sit down to dinner, we will take a moment to read these verses around the table before we pray. Once again, I am putting these here as a free printable, so you and yours can take a moment to focus in this year as well. 2020, you were a beast, but we are still thankful!

Don’t forget to also check out the Thanksgiving Planning Printable!

Here is the Reflection Page from the planning set if you are not hosting.

And here are the Place Setting Verse Cards!

I love this idea! This year has been really challenging but we have to remind ourselves that there are a lot of things that we should be grateful for. I’ll go ahead and create this verse cards as well!

There are some great messages in this printable. We could all be thankful for more this year as covid has turned the world into chaos.

What a wonderful way to celebrate with family. Also a great way to teach young children!! Covid has definitely got in the way of many things this year, but I’m so happy to see you make something fun for your family and others 🙂 There are so many wonderful things that still make the Holidays special!
